Learn to build your own agents that plan, use tools, check their own work and hand over to a person to verify and release.
For practitioners who build agents. You finish with a working agent for one real task in your own organisation.
A good agent course teaches planning, tool use, self-checking and a human gate. You build one agent, test it on messy African cases, and release it only after a named person verifies it.
Practitioners in government, health, mining, agriculture, finance, education, logistics, manufacturing, retail, legal and tourism who want to build agents rather than only write prompts.
Eight modules and a one-week capstone pilot. About 6 weeks at about 4 hours a week, with mentor clinics. Entry: you have used an AI assistant at work.

Eight modules, each ending in something you build
| Module | Practical output |
|---|---|
| 1. What an agent is | Written definition and 2 African examples |
| 2. Choose your first task | One-page task choice with success criteria and human gate |
| 3. The agent recipe | Completed instruction set: Mindset, Controls, Outputs, Iteration |
| 4. Plan the pipeline | Pipeline map with the human gate marked |
| 5. Tools and knowledge | One tool-connected agent that cites its sources |
| 6. Make it check its own work | Test set of 8 to 10 African cases with results |
| 7. Hand over, verify and release | Release checklist, audit trail and failure-mode log |
| 8. Capstone: one-week pilot | Working agent and pilot report with hours recovered |
Every module follows the ALAI cycle: Frame, Act, Reflect, Share. Each ends in one output that a facilitator reviews.
What makes it different
A human gate you cannot skip
The lab does not let an agent be released until every flag is resolved and a named person ticks every check. Sending does not exist in the lab.
African cases, not generic ones
Clinic messages in isiZulu and Sesotho, smallholder advisories, mine safety reports, cross-border banking and tourism.
POPIA built into the lab
South African ID numbers are detected and blocked before they reach any saved record.
A cohort, a mentor and an assessor
Weekly clinics, facilitator review of every output and an assessor who signs off your capstone.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to code?
No. You write instructions and connect tools in the AI model you already use. Coding helps only with custom integrations.
Which AI model do I use?
Any of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek or Copilot. The method is written to work word for word on any of them. The course does not lock you to one vendor.
Is it accredited?
You receive a Certificate of Completion from IALE Institute. No accreditation is claimed. If that changes, this page will say so.
What do I finish with?
A working agent for one real task, a test set, a release checklist with an audit trail and a pilot report. Every learner gets a Statement of Results. The certificate is issued when you pass every module and the assessor signs off your capstone.
Can I put client data into the lab?
No. The lab uses sample or synthetic data only. It detects South African ID numbers and will not save them. Phone numbers and email addresses are masked.
How is my data used?
Only for your learning record. Your work is not used to train AI models. See the privacy notice.
Fees and intake dates are confirmed by IALE Institute for each cohort.
